  4. Application to the chosen institution and Visa application (if relevant)

Student Support

Institutions provide their own form of student support to international students but we also like to ensure that all students recruited by EWB are safe as we want to look after the well-being of our clients. We appreciate the fact that you have selected us as your agent and therefore want to look after you as best as we can while you are on your journey. Should you have a dispute with your Institution, we are here to assist and mediate if required.

Student Health Cover OSHS

For international students applying for visa: In order for a person to apply for their Visa, they must also demonstrate that they have Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC), for the duration of their program. Prior to submitting your application, you will need to demonstrate the proof of this. We can assist you to obtain your OHSC.


In certain programs, there may be a requirement to undertake student placement. In most instances these are unpaid internships. The benefit of internships is that is that it may assist in completing your program or it may lead to part-time or casual employment. If an internship is found within the area that you study in, this could assist you to apply for your temporary graduate visa for when you complete your program. A subclass 485 or temporary graduate visa will allow you to work in your field of study, full time for up to 18 months.
